I know this is a bit of a delayed reaction but I've only just calmed down enough to be able to share.£3 million for a state funeral for Thatcher, that's got to be a joke.I could do my usual 'what that money could pay for' thing but even £3 would be too much to spend so it's not really an issue of the money.My favourite comment was from Frankie Boyle on Mock the Week who suggested that the £3 million would be better spent buying everyone in Scotland a shovel whereupon they will dig a huge hole and hand her over to Satan themselves!If anyone's interested, there's a party in Trafalgar Square the Saturday after she dies. It's an open invite and the flyers I've got ask that you bring beer, fireworks and your friends. I'm also told that an NUM branch up north have had their local town hall provisionally booked for a party since 1986!
