Ironbridge Coracle Regatta
The annual Ironbridge Regatta returns this August bank holiday Monday at Ironbridge Rowing Club, organised this year by the Ironbridge Coracle Trust.
Races include water polo, beginners, intermediate, experienced, plus much more – simply turn up and enter! Great fun, family day – for both participants and spectators. Three trophies up for grabs. Refreshments available. Parking at the rowing club, chargable.
The Ironbridge Coracle Trust was recently formed as part of the bid to buy and restore the Rogers’ coracle hut in Ironbridge. They have taken over running the annual Ironbridge regatta this year, though it will be business as usual – Simon and Terry will be running the races, and Gerwyn will be MCing.
