Emergency Services Search River Severn
The Severn was being searched by emergency services tonight. Residents across South Telford reported ambulances, police activity, all heading for Ironbridge.
It is understood that the stretch of river between Ironbridge and Coalport was the focus of the operation, which has been scaled down as night falls.
As far as we know, no persons have been recovered from the river.

It was awful we could only watch in horror what was happening. So much activity and speculation.
