Mayor of Newport fundraiser announced.

Cllr Peter Scott, Mayor of Newport, is raising funds for his chosen charities by holding a Barn Dance in May.

Cllr Scott told Telford Live! "We have the excellent Odd Socks band with their experienced caller. Delicious Hog Roast with a choice of sides. Mega raffle and bar.

Tickets just £20. All profits to the League of Friends X-ray Department Appeal and Newport Food Bank.

You can buy them from the Guildhall, Hey Jude of message me and i will deliver. Please help me make this a huge success for the charities."

The dance takes place at Harper Adams on 2nd of May.
