Revealed: The most rescued animals in the last 12 months

Telford-based fire & rescue workers do an amazing job putting out fires and cutting folks from cars on the A442 mainly, but they also perform a vital service inside and outside the borough.

The versatile bunch have animal rescue expertise in demand across the region, and while you might think it's a 'wAiST ov mUnnY', just pray that your pet doesn't ever need their services.

This graph shows the animals rescued by staff in the last 12 months. As you can see, horses top the charts, but that may well be because Wellington has a lot of experience in dealing with the equine incidents.

'Bullseye', the station horse, can often be seen in the yard in Wellington, having a lie down.
