Scarlett & Poppy Jackson decided enough was enough on their daily walk to school. Litter from smokers, chocolate wrappers and fast food packaging upset them so much, they decided to take matters into their own rubber-gloved hands.
They grabbed a bag and picked up all the litter on their half-mile walk to school on Woodside.
Noticing that a fair proportion was from McDonalds, they asked their grandad for help writing to the fast food giant. Dave Jackson said 'apart from finding the address for them to copy', the idea was all theirs.
