Flood plain fills up

The famous Oxbow bends at Buildwas have disappeared under a sea of water as the levels continue to rise.

The plain is left to flood before the water enters into the bottleneck of the Gorge, where the water gets squeezed through the narrowest point, under the Ironbridge.
