Have you really missed that Nandos?
Have you really missed that Nandos?
The roads are void of the Saturday traffic you would normally expect. The High streets are empty. The queues you might see trying to get into Wrekin Retail Park have been exchanged for lines of shoppers, six feet distant from each other, trolleys in hand at the entrance to Tesco.
If god could be thanked for anything, it would be inflicting this virus on us during a decent spell of weather because queuing outside in the wind and rain of British Winter would have induced riots.
When all this is over, will it go back to normal, and if it does, just how long will that take?
Will you still want a McDonalds? Do you really need to buy clothes or go shopping every weekend? Have you really missed that Nandos?

Our local kebab and burger shop have stayed open for delivery /collection. Really nice food and friendly service. I wouldn’t want to give my money to big business who don’t care about their customers.
Nandos I don’t bother with. MacDonalds iv not missed. Would just like the outher shops back to normal clothes shops ect
Gotta admit, I don’t miss shopping, and no I really don’t need to see everything go back to how it was because frankly it was ridiculous. And no we probably don’t need all those hedge fund owned restaurant chains, we need more independents.
Not at all. Overrated can do much better myself. Don’t really get the attraction.
I’m not missing anything other than the eyebrow bar! I hate this place and any form of shopping. I love the 2m rule. Still too many people stopping to chat in shops or pondering over what to buy. I see it, grab it and buy it
I’ve not missed anything apart from day trips over Easter and seeing family, I never go to town centre unless it’s for birthday cards etc
I’ve also noticed that the roads are much busier than they were two weeks ago
We never go to the town centre or use Southwater for eating out .
