Telford depot central to ventilator distribution

MOD Donnington got a name check this afternoon during the Covid-19 press conference.

Production of essential ventilators is being ramped up at Smiths Medical from hundreds a month to thousands in response to the UK government’s challenge to UK technology and engineering businesses to help save lives in the Covid-19 pandemic.

These ventilators are being distributed to hospitals around the UK from MOD Donnington in Telford.
