Telford intensive care nurse shortlisted for trip of a lifetime.

Ketley couple Ben & Martha, are both working in the NHS as a paramedic and an intensive care nurse respectively.

Martha has been listed into the final 3 of a healthcare heroes competition to win an African Safari but they need your help with a vote.

Martha was due to marry her childhood sweetheart Ben, a paramedic also working on the frontline, in a few weeks’ time. Now, instead of walking down the aisle in her bridal gown in front of her family, she will be walking down hospital corridors in her NHS uniform, helping other families in their greatest hour of need.

As well as losing out financially, the stress of having to reorganise the entire wedding during the pandemic has been immense. I can’t think of anyone who is more deserving of fulfilling her bucket list dream of an African safari!
