Jordans Journey: Telfords connection with the virus vaccine
The Oxford Vaccine has been approved for use, and Telford Live learned of a local connection to the breakthrough.
Jordan Barrett grew up in Priorslee, Stirchley and Lightmoor Village before leaving Telford for Oxford University.
The Lord Silkin & New College student studied at Oxford and has been part of the team working on the new vaccine to combat Coronavirus.
His Mum said that "they have been working long hours, every day". The new Oxford AstraZeneca vaccine is more stable and less expensive than the American one.
