Embankment work on target for opening this week

Pete Donovan, Infrastructure Maintenance Delivery Manager at Network Rail has stated that teams are just completing the final works prior to handing back the infrastructure and the railway on Friday morning just before start of service.

He went on to say “On behalf of Network Rail I apologise to our customers and passengers for the inconvenience, we’ve worked hard to get this back now and look forward to reopening on Friday.”
