Telford Medal Winners at Championships

Two Telford ice skating coaches came back with a boot full of medals from the British Ice Skating Championships.

Sarah Carter took six inclusive skaters along to the event in Sheffield and told Telford Live! “Just competing is a massive accomplishment but they all skated beautifully.

“Sara and Jennifer competed a year early just to see how they would be with the stress/anxiety of the situation. They both had the brief of ‘stand on the ice and that’s a huge win’ but they both completed their programs and kept their anxiety at bay! So proud of them.

“I think we’ve done really well for a small Telford team”
