St Georges Celebrations in Newport

Next Saturday head to Newport for St Georges Day celebrations.

The fun starts at 10am on 20th April in Newport High Street which will be closed to traffic from 12pm to 1pm for the procession.

Cllr Peter Scott told Telford Live! “We have celebrated St George’s Day in Newport since 2010. Everyone is welcome to attend. It’s a light hearted event for all the family. It’s a well supported event which always goes down well. The sunny weather is on order.”
