Could Madeley get it’s first Costa?

Telford is awash with coffee shops, we can’t get enough of it. Unless of course you live in Madeley, a dry spot in an ocean of the hot brown stuff.

This could be about to change as part of a retail park has come available for a drive-thru. Property agents Halls Commercial are looking for a a tenant for a proposed coffee drive-thru or café development on the site which is owned by Telford and Wrekin Council.

The site used to be part of Madeley Court School, before hosting the likes of Subway, Aldi and Lidl, just off Madeley Court Way.

Rent is undisclosed, but there is a rich seam of thirsty mon within a short distance, so if you are reading this, and I’m looking at you, Costa, and want to punt your Pumpkin Spice double-shot oat lattes to the good people of Woodside, Hills Lane, Sutton Hill, Madeley and Aqueduct, here’s your chance.

What would you like to see on this site? Tim Hortons? Wimpy? Starbucks? Gails? McDonalds? Greggs?
