Witnesses sought for fatal A41 crash

Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision involving one vehicle on the A41 near Tong, Shifnal, Shropshire.

The collision involved a black Seat Arona which has hit a tree and caught fire at around 1am this morning  on the stretch from Lizard Mill Farm Junction to Pickmere Roundabout.

Emergency services attended however, sadly, the driver of the vehicle – a man in his 20s – was pronounced dead at the scene. No-one else was in the vehicle and no other vehicles are believed to have been involved.
