Yes, it soon comes round to that time of year that the whole of Telford either looks in disgust at, or forward to, the Mammoth Donnington Bonfire and Fireworks Display that takes place each year on the Broad Oaks Playing Fields at Donnington in Telford.

It’s the stuff of myth and legend. In the shadow of the pallet monolith, you will hear tales of stabbings and goldfish being won, wellies being lost in the mud, and forbidden romance behind the waltzers.
