Enforcement camera returns to car park

The replacement ANPR camera that covers Market Street car park in Wellington has now been installed.

Back in September the pole and cables controlling the entrance to the popular car park were cut through in a mystery attack, bring the pole down.

The new super-thick pole was installed a few days ago, but now the camera has been fitted, shoppers may get a ticket for overstaying their 90 minutes of free parking.

The charge for overstaying or parking outside of a marked bay is £85.

The car park, once owned by Wilkos, is now owned by B&M Stores, and managed by Horizon Parking.
