River Severn has peaked

The River Severn has not breached the road but the barriers are still in place.

From the Bridge end of the Wharfage, you can walk behind the barriers as far as the White Hart to access the shops, cafes and the pub.

You can walk around the back, following the signed diversion up the bank, which is very steep to New Road which takes you past the Malthouse and the Swan pub which are still open.

You exit the barriers down by the Wharfage car park which is still open.
