Telford Town Park named as England’s cleanest park

With the October half-term around the corner, the experts at LitterBins.co.uk wanted to discover the UK’s cleanest parks for families to visit this Autumn. The study analysed some of the UK’s most popular parks based on TripAdvisor reviews, Google reviews, and overall quality score. The study also analysed the area’s local dissatisfaction with rubbish disposal to reveal the UK’s cleanest parks.

Taking the top spot as the cleanest park in the UK is Holyrood Park in Edinburgh, with an overall score of 73/100. A popular sight amongst tourists, Holyrood Park received 1,893 excellent reviews on Tripadvisor and a 4.8/5 Google rating. The city of Edinburgh also has an 82 rating for the quality of parks and a rating of 45 for dissatisfaction with rubbish disposal.

Telford Town Park ranks as the second cleanest park in the UK, with an overall score of 58/100. The large Park, which stretches 1.7 square kilometres, received a high rating of 4.6/5 on Google. The park also earned its high score due to Telford earning the lowest dissatisfaction with rubbish disposal score in the study, at just 13/85.
