More train misery for Telford commuters
All Transport for Wales services between Shrewsbury and Birmingham International will terminate at Wolverhampton from Saturday, 16 November until at least Friday, 22 November.
This is due to a fleet shortage because of a number of trains undergoing heavy maintenance exams and autumn related repairs.
Transport for Wales said “We would like to apologise for the inconvenience caused and we are working hard to minimise disruption to customers.”
One of those customers is Allan Somers who boarded a packed TfW train at Telford Central, bound for Birmingham, and shared the picture with Telford Live!.
Allan said “Two carriages, rammed to the rafters.”
