Christmas Toy Run

If you saw loads of motorcyclists dressed like Santa around Telford yesterday, here’s why.

It all started from the M54 Services, where around 100 bikers & supporters from all over the county gathered at 11am for the first True North Bikers Christmas Toy Run.

All kinds of bikes and bikers came with their bikes and themselves in seasonal attire.

Bikes, Trikes, Combinations, Scooters and Quads all took part in the impressive run which took them on a slow route around Telford for about 90 minutes.

The group ended up at The Princess Royal Hospital where all the toys collected by the bikers were handed over to the children.

True Bikers meet each Friday evening at AFC Telford Utd Learning Centre, and Dan Wharton who organised the Toy Run told Telford Live that there will be more fundraising and community events next year.
