The clean up begins

The Storm Darragh clean up started last night in Brookside where Brereton resident Scott Sharkey, his partner, neighbours and another member of the public pulled together.

A tree had fallen during the high winds, blocking Brookside perimeter road. The residents got to work, cutting, chipping and cleaning up the debris.

The road was cleared and people on Brookside were very grateful. Lynette, a resident of the estate commented “Love the community spirit! Well done and thanks for getting the road open again.”
