Car fire on A5

Shropshire Fire & Rescue attended a car fire in a layby on the A5 near the M54 this afternoon.

The fire engulfed the car and the emergency services were on scene for about 90 minutes.

Three fire engines attended, and police controlled the traffic until the vehicle was made safe.
