GoFundMe launched following house fire

Shropshire Fire and Rescue were called to a property in Smallwood, Sutton Hill yesterday where they extinguished a fire in an upstairs bedroom.

Luckily for Emily Reeds Nan and cousin, they escaped with their lives, but sadly the bedroom and the belongings have suffered smoke damage.

Emily told Telford Live “My cousin has carbon monoxide poisoning but other than that everyone is okay and was checked over by paramedics”

‘He has lost everything, clothes , toiletries, essentials. He does not have a bed to sleep in at the moment.’

The GoFundME target is £1000 and has just hit £295: https://www.gofundme.com/f/house-fire-need-help-with-building-a-life-back-up

According to Emily, the fire was caused by a faulty power bank.
