People in Shropshire need more love
Speed Dating Shropshire launch their debut event in time for Valentine’s Day. Pixie Greatorex, a local business owner, put her five-year plan into action, and the speed dating evening is set to take place on 23rd January at The Park House Hotel in Shifnal.
‘The world needs more love, and people are increasingly frustrated with trying to find it online. It has been a long time coming, but now is the right time to bring the possibility of love to the County.’’ said Pixie.
Supported by best friend Ellie-May, this is the culmination of years of conversations identifying a gap in the market in the local area for in-person dating without the need to travel to a city. The first venue is a newly renovated country hotel in Shropshire conveniently located near a train station with plenty of parking.
‘The market research tells us the single people of Shropshire want more opportunities to connect with people in real life,’ Pixie continued. ‘We recognise that in-person dating could be nerve-wracking with so many conversations never getting past the talking stage online. This is why we added an option on the website to book a call for a chat.’
The first event is aimed at 35-45-year-olds, with plans to roll out evenings for all ages, along with same-sex dating. Join the email list via the website to be notified of up-and-coming events.
Tickets cost just £20 with a minimum of 10 dates and can be purchased at www.speeddatingshropshire.com
