Sexual assault in Woodside, Telford
West Mercia Police Officers are appealing for witnesses after a woman was sexually assaulted in Woodside, Telford today (Monday 3 February).
The incident happened between 2am and 2.20am on Woodside Avenue near to Wantage.
Officers have been in the area carrying out their enquiries and are now appealing to the public for information.
Detective Inspector Paul Drury from Telford said: “Understandably, an incident of this nature will cause concern for the public. I would like to reassure the local community that an investigation has been launched and enquiries are underway.
“We are asking anyone with information which could help with enquiries, or who has CCTV / Ring doorbell footage of anyone passing through the area at the time of the incident, to get in contact. Please call 01952 214646 or email dl-gcid@westmercia.police.uk if you think you can help.”
