Grow found after burglary reports

156 Plants have been seized following action by West Mercia Police responding to a burglary report from a neighbour.

After receiving a 999 call reporting an on-going burglary in Hurleybrook Way, Leegomery, Telford on the night of the 19/03/2025, attending officers soon found that the property was actually a cannabis grow.

The grow was quickly dismantled and 156 plants were seized for destruction. The estimated street value for all of the plants would be north of £150,000. Investigations are ongoing, and we encourage residents to remain vigilant.
