Man dies in Malinslee fire

A man has sadly died in a property fire in Telford this morning.

West Midlands Ambulance Service was called by the fire service to a property fire in the Malinslee area of Telford at 0.54am today. Two ambulances and a paramedic officer attended the scene.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “When ambulance staff arrived, they found fire colleagues administering CPR to the man. The team of ambulance staff took over advanced life support but sadly, despite the best efforts of everyone on scene, nothing could be done to save the man and he was confirmed deceased a short time later.”
