Resilient Cafe Owners back open on wheels
Resilient Cafe Owners back open on wheels
If you look the word 'resilient' up in the dictionary you'll see this picture. Dale End Cafe was flooded out three times and is still out of action. However, the owners have acquired a trailer and and are serving up from their battle wagon, 8:30am to 2pm today.
They can only take cash, because the card machine and the internet connection are still out of action.
Local campaigner Julie Ward has set up a crowdfunder to raise £5000 to help them get back open. The fund stands at £3100 so far.

If you are going down, don't forget that the Council have waived all car parking charges for 2 weeks.
With the second flood, we had to put #Dryonbridge on hold, but stay tuned for an announcement tomorrow.
