My dad used to work there,he ended up with black sand on his lungs and it killed him aged 59yrs :-(( Reply
my dad worked there, in the 50’s and early 60’s, he was an electrician…..it used to be called Allied Iron Foundries back then Reply
I still work there now as a development engineer, and I can assure you all the health and safety standards have greatly improved. Reply
My dad worked there until 1983. He came home with his redundancy notice June 7 1983 my 14 Birthday! The first time I saw a man cry! Reply
