DW Gym in Telford closes down
The gym near Curry's on Forge Retail Park has closed its doors today, leaving members in the lurch.
"As a consequence of Covid-19, we found ourselves in a position where we were mandated by government to close down both our retail store portfolio and our gym chain in its entirety for a protracted period, leaving us with a high fixed-cost base and zero income," chief executive Martin Long said.
"The decision to appoint administrators has not been taken lightly but will give us the best chance to protect viable parts of the business, return them to profitability, and secure as many jobs as possible."
It looks like the company did not have time to contact members to let them know.

The gym has completely gone off their website in the last few hours xx
has anybody managed to contact them? my daughters had an email asking for membership details so they can refund but the email address they’ve said to respond to doesn’t work it bounces back. she’s tried ringing head office but the only option to speak to anybody is for those who have paid by direct debit not a whole years subs upfront (it’s the credit company not the gym ) she’s paid a whole years subs upfront on her debit card and only used it for three weeks. apparently they are automatically cancelling direct debits and refunding those ppl as they have their bank details everybody else has to send membership details and bank details to them but their instagram has been deleted they have been deleted off the website and there’s seems to be no telephone number to contact
