A landslip in Telford is disrupting rail services between Shrewsbury and Birmingham

On Friday, a landslip between Oakengates and Wellington made the line unsafe for for trains to navigate. The incident happened on a raised embankment near Wombridge Foot Crossing, just after the Oakengates Station, heading towards Wellington.

These images by Daniel Johnston show the extent and scale of the problem facing Network Rail.

A rail replacement bus service is currently running and disruption could last until the end of March.
