Muaythai gym opens in Telford

A brand new martial arts gym has opened in Telford and they are offering free taster sessions.

Aaron Jones, a Crewe-based trainer, and the  Embuido family are bringing this popular fight discipline to Wellington. The experienced coaches can count many titles at all levels up to World Championships amongst their achievements.

Aaron told Telford Live “There are many reasons people of all ages want to try Muaythai; fitness, confidence, fun. Not everyone wants to go on to be a World Champion, or even fight competitively.

“The new gym is for everyone. We have classes for Boys & Girls from 3 years old, right through to Adults and Seniors.  The free sessions are great way see if it works for you or your young ones.”

One of the coaches, Kobe Embuido, had an incredible junior career that transferred into the amateur ranks before turning professional. Kobe holds multiple British, European and World titles.

Winning runs in the Embuido family. Aaron says of the other coaches,  “Izzy is in Thailand at the moment and scheduled to fight on Thursday and Miggy has taken silver in Bangkok and Gold in Lithuania for team GB in IFMA events too.”
