Transport for Wales Trains cancelled

The rail service between Shrewsbury and Birmingham has, once again, run into problems.

The cancellations will run over the whole weekend.Transport for Wales are reporting a shortage of available trains due to more trains than usual requiring repairs.

As a result, the service running between Birmingham International / Birmingham New Street and Shrewsbury will be suspended.

This latest disruption is just one of series of cancellations that have rendered the service through Telford stations impossible for passengers to rely upon when planning journeys.

This is expected to continue until the end of the day on Sunday 27 October.

There is a replacement bus service, and passengers should always check before travelling.
