Marialuz, the owner of Danashe Hair Care & Beauty Salon, has announced that her salon will be offering free dry haircuts and trims to six individuals each month from November through February. The initiative, specifically aimed at residents facing financial hardship, will run during these traditionally tight months, ensuring community members who may struggle with costs can still access a haircut.

Marialuz shared her gratitude, noting that the move from King Street to Market Street was made possible by the loyalty and encouragement of her customers. “Your continued support has turned my dream into a reality – I couldn’t have done this without you!” she expressed in a message to her clients.

The complimentary haircut appointments will be available on the following dates:

– Thursday, 28th November

– Thursday, 19th December (just in time for Christmas)

– Thursday, 27th February

Each date will see appointments open from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Bookings can be made via phone, or for those unable to make a call, appointments can also be arranged in person at the salon. If demand is high, Marialuz has expressed her commitment to accommodating as many as possible by potentially increasing appointment numbers.

“This is my way of giving back to the community that has given me so much,” Marialuz said, expressing her excitement to welcome both new and returning clients to the salon’s new location.
