BMW crashes into house

Emergency services have been working at the scene where a BMW has crashed into a house next to a filling station.

The Shell filling station is situated on Holyhead Road in Ketley.

Daniel Watkins came upon the incident shortly after it happened. “When I was walking past, I saw there was quite a few police cars, ambulance and fire engine where the road had been taped off.

“The state of the house when looking up close looked extremely bad as the front door is completely twisted and most likely off its hinges.

“However, when looking at the brick wall. It was a completely different story with a BMW wedged into the side of the house with the bricks all over the car leaving the house unsafe and exposed.

“I would like to send my warmest regards to the house owners who have suffered from this, and offer any help and support where possible.”

Fire and Rescue crews are reporting that have isolated the external gas supply and no further action can be taken by crews until electrics and internal gas has been isolated to property by the utilities companies.
