Off road motorcycle ridden through shopping centre

Police in Telford are appealing for help to identify a reckless rider in Hadley.

A report of a yellow, off-road motorcycle being ridden on the pedestrian area in Hadley Centre was made to Police on Saturday 09th November at 1:26pm. The motorcycle was speeding around Hadley Centre and came across the fly over bridge and then exited up Manor Road towards the Hadley Learning Community.

At the time, the centre was busy with pedestrians and they narrowly missed a twin buggy with newborn babies in it.

PC Rob Hughes of Hadley and Leegomery Safer Neighbourhood Team said on Facebook “I know some people think that riding an off-road motorcycle is just kids having fun, however someone will get hurt and the injuries can be life changing. There are places to ride and clubs that support this.

“We would like your help identifying the rider so we can stop this anti-social behaviour.”
