Pub fire in Wellington Centre

Shropshire Fire and Rescue were called to the White Lion in Crown Street in the centre of Wellington this morning to deal with kitchen fire.

On arrival, crews could see smoke issuing from an extraction vent. Some properties nearby were asked to leave while the operation to put the fire out took place. The crew used two hose reel jets and breathing apparatus to tackle the fire.
