Man taken to hospital after M54 crash

A crash on the M54 involving a pick-up truck towing an electric vehicle resulted in a man being taken to hospital.

The incident happened around 10:30am this morning between Junction 5 (Town Centre) and Junction 6 (Wrekin Retail Park) heading towards Shrewsbury.

Shropshire Fire and Rescue took three appliances to the scene, and left about an hour later.
