TADLOP presents EVITA, a Shropshire Premiere of the Andrew Lloyd Webber Classic

Award winning musical society TADLOP (Telford and District Light Operatic Players), has opened the box office for its latest production of the Andrew Lloyd Webber classic Evita, due to take place on the 21 – 24 October 2015 at The Place, Oakengates.
Evita follows the story of Maria Eva Duarte as she rises through the ranks of society to become Eva Peron, the first lady of Argentina. The musical includes memorable songs such as ‘You Must Love Me’, ‘Another Suitcase, Another Hall’ and the iconic ‘Don’t Cry for me Argentina’.
“We are very fortunate to have such a range of talent in our society.” said TADLOP publicity secretary Lyndsey Bird. “Evita has such a strong cast fronted by our principals of Ron York as Peron, Neil Bultitude as Che and Sabina Smith as the iconic Eva Peron.”
‘We are excited that we are able to produce the Shropshire premiere of this show, which is currently not readily available for adult groups to perform. Our production team and cast are extremely enthusiastic about this show. Tickets are already on sale and are going fast; I would advise people to get their tickets well in advance to avoid disappointment. ”
The box office is now open with tickets priced £13 in the stalls and £15 for the seating. A booking fee of £2 is applicable per booking. Visit www.theplacetelford.com or call 01952 382382 to book, or see www.tadlop.com for more details.
