Sheepish driver over the lamb-it

Yesterday Police Officers of the Wellington West & Rural team conducted a speeding operation in Longdon On Tern as part of Operation Spotlight.

Operation Spotlight is a national and West Mercia campaign against the fatal 4 traffic offences:

-Speeding
-Drink & Drug driving
-Seatbelts
-Mobile phone use

Police said “We stopped multiple vehicles and tickets were issued. While conducting the speeding operation, a member of the public tried to explain to us that the reason for speeding was a sheep emergency?! You cant pull the wool over our eyes.”

We think they are about to get fleeced.
